The black and white Arabesque background was a perfect match to these simple felted moon and star stickers on this handmade Eid* card. The card has the words Eid Mubarak written in Arabic on vellum, which has been placed on cornered red cardstock.
*Eid, meaning "festival" or "holiday" in Arabic, can refer to a number of Muslim holidays, including Eid Al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. The word itself is also used for Mother's Day, Christmas, Birthday, etc. Eid Mubarak means Blessed Eid.
This card is a great gift for so many people - chilren, men, relatives, co-workers.
It measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and is on beige cardstock and comes with a beige envelope in a protective plastic sleeve.
I made it in my non-smoking, pet free craft room.
Shukran for looking!
